- Rapidly boosts soil pH.
- Low application rates
- Minimal dust
- Hassle free spreading
- Easy and cost effective method
Low Application Rates
The amount of lime required depends on the soil type and the starting and target pH levels. As a guide these rates will give a 0.2 lift on pH
Soil Type Application Rates
Sandy/Silt loams 200kg/ha 80kg/acre
Clay/Loamy soils 225kg/ha 90kg/acre
Highly fertile soils 250kg/ha 100kg/acre
Peat 350kg/ha 140kg/acre
Boost pH
The calcium carbonate used in Rapid Lime is up to 94% pure. The high calcium content, together with the fine particle size, ensures the calcium is readily available to plant and microbial life through the root zone, while the carbonate raises the pH and boosts productivity
- * Can be applied at any time
- * Lifts soil pH quickly
- * Enhances plant nutrient uptake
- * Improves pasture palatability
- * Promotes soil microbial activity
- * Minimises dust upon application
- * No specialised application equipment required

Easy to Apply
Rapid Lime Prills are free flowing, able to be spread by:
Spreader, Truck, or by Hand.
Available in 1 Tonne or 20kg bags

Fast Acting
Rapid Lime Prills are specifically made from 20 micron particle size lime flour. These prills quickly break down following rain, irrigation or heavy dew.

No withholding period for stock
Fine Particle "The Facts"
It's important to understand that it's not the "tonnes per ha" that raises pH, it's the available "surface area of calcium carbonate" that counts.
Scientifically proven
As lime particle size is reduced, it's surface area increases exponentially. Thus, the effect of liming is dramatically faster and far more effective in raising pH than course particle liming materials.
